全球最大的航空公司--美国航空公司的航班4月2日从芝加哥奥海尔国际机场起飞，次日下午抵达上海浦东国际机场，这标志着美国航空公司芝加哥-上海的每日直达航班正式投入运营。美国航空公司负责人表示：“开通中国航线对我们意义重大，这将加强美国航空公司在全球的竞争地位。”
